Today this email from dot5hosting arrive in our mailbox, and its an clarification email explaining that carbonite backup service offered via dot5hosting partner program is free for first year only. Following year require service upgrade… and also will be offering you unlimited storage space backup version. “We hope you are enjoying the benefits of Carbonite, the automated file backup and PC restoration tool. When you installed Carbonite, it was not clearly indicated that the 2GB version was only free for a year; after the year, you will be prompted to upgrade to the unlimited version. There is no obligation to upgrade, and you will not be automatically upgraded, however if you do not upgrade, you will no longer have access to Carbonite. If you choose to upgrade, simply follow the instructions when prompted by your Carbonite tool.“
